The client was struggling because his google ads campaigns were outdated and well optimized. They are in the business of refurbishing electronics and reselling them.
They had a profitable eBay account but wanted to scale up sales on their website.
The previous account manager was trying to advertise all products on the website. I wouldn’t say that is a bad strategy but it depends on budgets and also on advertising channels. So with a comprehensive discussion with their product manager and analysis of product performance in the past, I segmented the account to advertise for more profitable items and to bid accordingly proportional to the conversions rates, average order value and profit margin.
A healthy increase in ROAS and a huge increase in revenue. Results came after 3 months of optimization.
This client has been with me since 2019. They are a small HVAC company which services London and the Kent area. They have a small budget and rely on Google Ads and mouth-to-mouth to get leads (they are family owned and masters in their craft).

Created a master negative keyword list based on their previous search terms and with research so we can save money on irrelevant queries.

This is the account of a small business, with one brick and mortar store in a town in the UK. When Andy (the business owner) reached out to me to have a look at his account they had only 200% ROAS, sometimes 250% which barely kept them on the surface.
